Junior & Project
Hope
Hope Junior is a program that exposes children
and teenagers to positive influences and opportunities as
a means of helping them make constructive decisions for
their futures. Project Hope is a program for pregnant and
parenting teenage mothers in the community.
• Tutor and mentor teens and pre-teens
• Help with activities: art projects, sports,
games, community service projects, etc…
• Assist with baby showers
• Collect toiletries and household items for
teen moms
Family Services
Marillac House provides a number of services
to help those most in need, including assistance with payment
of utility bills, the Nifty Thrifty Resale Shop, homeless
outreach, adult education classes and GED tutoring.
• Help sort items in the Nifty Thrifty Shop
• Become a sowing instructor for senior citizens
• Tutor adults in the subjects of science,
math and reading (high school level)
Fundraising
Marillac House holds a variety of special events
each year in an effort to raise money and awareness for
the services it offers to communities on Chicago’s west
side
