Leaders at Marillac Social Center
Bart Winters has served as chief executive officer of St. Vincent de Paul Center and Marillac Social Center since May of 2009. Mr. Winters is a native Chicagoan, with degrees from Loyola University, University of St. Mary of the Lake, University of San Francisco and Gregorian University (Rome). Prior to coming to St. Vincent’s, Mr. Winters served as CEO of the Alexian Brothers AIDS Ministry for three years.
Maureen Hallagan, has been executive director of Marillac House since 2005. Ms. Hallagan directs all of Marillac's Social Service Programs. Ms. Hallagan has a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois Chicago. Ms. Hallagan was the director of Marillac's Project Hope and Hope Junior Program for 18 years before becoming the executive director.
Sr. Jean Maher, Special projects coordinator at Marillac Social Center since 2008. Sr. Jean received her BS in nursing from Marillac College in St. Louis and her masters in theology from the University of Detroit. After serving on the Daughters of Charity Leadership Team Sister Jean was missioned to China and Haiti.
Michael (Mickey) Wilhelm, director of operations and facilities for St. Vincent de Paul Center and Marillac Social Center, joined us in July 2007. Mr. Wilhelm has associate degrees in finance and computer science from Loop College and Morton College, Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering certification from DeVry Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Environmental Engineering from the Environmental Technical Institute. Prior to assuming his present position, Mr. Wilhelm was the facility manager at General Electric.
Tracie Frederick has served as Director of Development at St. Vincent’s and Marillac Social Center since December 2010. She has a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from Iowa State University. Prior to St. Vincent’s and Marillac, Tracie worked at North Shore Country Day School in Winnetka, IL as the Annual Giving Coordinator.
Linda Perri has served as chief financial officer of St. Vincent de Paul Center and Marillac Social Center since March 1999. Ms. Perri has a BSC in accounting from DePaul University and is a CPA with the State of Illinois. Prior to coming to St. Vincent’s, Ms. Perri was the controller at Barrie Pace (a division of Hartmarx Corporation).
Sister Patricia Dunne has been the vice president of mission integration for St. Vincent de Paul Center and Marillac Social Center since September 2006. Sister Patricia received a BA in mathematics from Marillac College in St. Louis and an master’s in social work from Loyola University in Chicago. Prior to coming to St. Vincent’s, she served as Provincial Councillor at the Daughters Provincial House in Evansville, Indiana.
