Before/After School Programs

The School age program is committed to offer children kindergarten through 8th grade a quality out-of-school time program that provides each child the opportunity to participate in a safe and structured program where they can develop and grow into young people with a strong sense of self and the skills to make positive life choices for themselves.

Before, After & Out of School Programs (6-13 years)

Marillac’s School Age Program is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). The program is year round Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-6:00PM.The program is before school and after school during the school year. It also provides programs during school vacations and summer vactions.

Eligibility:

• Children Kindergarten through 8th grade
• Capacity 110 children
• Parent/guardian must be in school or working

Program Services:

• 15-1 child/teacher ratio
• Lesson plans focus on:
  • Social Emotional Development
  • Cognitive Development
  • Language and reading skills
  • Gross and fine motor
• Nutritious Meals: During school year breakfast/snack
  Summer camp, school holidays: Breakfast, Lunch Snack

We believe that it is critical to offer children safe and educational experiences during out-of-school time. Our program provides recreational, social cultural opportunities to children. These include life skills, entrepreneurial experiences, music, sports, art, homework help, field trips & more.
