Advocacy

Marillac Social Center relies on state and local government to fund our programs. We ask our clients, donors and friends of the Center to help us reach out to government officials on our behalf.

Due to the current Illinois state budget crisis, early childhood education programs and child care assistance are threatened with devastating funding cuts. You can take action by contacting your local legislator and asking them to protect early childhood programs, giving vulnerable children access to high-quality child care and education.
