Sister Katie Endowment Fund

We are excited to announce that as of this summer, we are closer to meeting our $1 million goal for the Sister Katie Endowment Fund.
We wish to thank Sister Katie's supporters for their generous gifts and encouraging thoughts about Sister Katie and her mission of helping the poor, as we strive to reach our goal. With your help, the Sister Katie Endowment Fund will be helping our clients for years to come through assisting parents with unforeseen needs, provide funds to staff for continuing education and training and provide special recognition. These areas of focus mirror what Sister Katie was best known for - "helping those in immediate need without question."
Make your gift to grow our fund to continue Sister Katie's mission.
“The twin pillars of the Daughters of Charity Ministries of Chicago, St. Vincent de Paul Center and Marillac Social Center, are our clients and our staff.” - Sister Katie Norris, D.C.
The Sister Katie Endowment Fund was established when Sister Catherine Mary Norris, D.C., better known as Sister Katie, left her leadership role at St. Vincent de Paul Center to serve on the Daughters’ East Central Province Provincial Council.
What is the Sister Katie Endowment Fund?

Through her example, Sister Katie will continue to energize all of us to serve the poor. We are blessed to have such an example in our lives.
Please consider a gift to the Sister Katie Endowment Fund to help to ensure that her legacy lives on.
